Macayo's Happy Hour
We're regulars. Literally at least once or twice a week. They know our names and we know theirs. But consider this deal: We use our Macayo's mugs (they're big!) so we get a delicious peach or pomegranate or prickly pear margarita for $4, and if we go during happy hour our drink purchase gets us a plate for the free buffet! So a drink and some grub for $7 after tip, not too shabby! And the food, although spicy to get you to drink more, is very, very good. Love Macayo's!

Have you read her blog(s)?! Why not? It's not because I love cattle or horses or cowboy hats. In fact, not a fan of anything on that list. Maybe horses. They can be cute, although smelly. No, she is just an amazing cook. She's hilarious. Her photography is beautiful, and she teaches you how to be as good as her (not that I know a camera). She homeschools her kids and talks about that often. And she's very, very real. Jokes about weight issues, raudy kids, decorating dilemmas and cooking disasters! Love her!
